Lisette has a singing animation in her normal attire at the start of the game, and also theres one when she is already a witch and she has a weird iron staff with a ball at the top (looks like a test sprite since you can see the mesh of the iron ball)Īlso, Sakuya, Lisette, Popo and Mordimort(and Niki too) have a weird floating animation. Niki has animations for a Conduct Song as well as a bunch of others that might be possible to see them in game, but dunno, as when I played, I never saw Niki doing something. I think they might have left it out because they would have to make an animation for every skill, so having just the standard attack animation and no animation for skills would have been weird, as I expected that these attacking animations would have been used when you turn off the battle movie.ĮDIT: Theres so much more unused animations that I getting crazy lol. I wonder if enemies have these animations too. It seems it was a last time decision, as even the witches have the animation in their second attire. I think only a few characters use it when they are attacking in the dialog where the sprites are (Like when Dante attacks an angel in Farenheit)ĭunno why they left it out. I was taking a deeper look and man, I am a bit sad.Įvery character you can control has an unused attacking sprite, like in the old days of the LA series. I hope you enjoy these, it was a lot of work, because overall there's 4427 pictures! I put all the characters in their own folders and then I categorized the characters according to the official website: I was too busy with undubbing several games, so someone else beat me to this :P EDIT: A better thread exists that contains these character sprites, enemy sprites, CGs and backgrounds.
